Develop contingency plans for critical meetings and events where appropriate. Events & Presentations Provide technical support for conferences, presentations, executive meetings, guest speakers, and other special events. Set up, test, and operate AV equipment before and during events. Support presentation laptops, media devices, remote controls, external storage, microphones, displays, and other event technology. Assist with recording presentations, meetings, and events using dedicated equipment or approved mobile devices. Coordinate technical requirements with internal teams involved in events and recordings. Conduct rehearsals and technical checks to identify potential problems before an event begins. Support live troubleshooting during events and provide practical solutions with minimal disruption. Ensure event technology is accessible, reliable, and appropriate for the environment. Technology & Improvements Review the performance and reliability of existing AV systems and identify opportunities for improvement. Support the installation, configuration, integration, and commissioning of new AV equipment. Work with suppliers and internal technology teams on equipment upgrades, replacements, and room improvements. Evaluate new AV and collaboration technologies and provide recommendations where appropriate. Monitor software and firmware releases for conferencing and AV platforms. Identify recurring incidents and recommend changes that can reduce future support requirements. Help establish consistent standards for meeting rooms, conferencing systems, displays, audio equipment, and user experience. Maintain digital signage and other AV-related information displayed throughout the workplace. Consider accessibility, room layout, acoustics, lighting, connectivity, and environmental factors when planning AV solutions. Assist with technology projects from initial requirements through implementation and handover. User Support & Documentation Provide one-to-one and group training for employees on meeting room and AV technology. Create clear user guides, troubleshooting instructions, and technical documentation. Keep support documentation current as systems and processes change. Explain technical concepts in a simple and practical way to non-technical users. Gather feedback from users and senior stakeholders to identify service improvements. Promote good practices for using meeting room and collaboration technology. Provide refresher training and workshops when recurring support issues are identified. ##### Preferred Experience 3–5 years of professional experience supporting AV, video conferencing, unified communications, or meeting room technology. Strong understanding of AV signal flow, video distribution, audio systems, switching, connectivity, and conferencing technologies. Experience supporting platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Webex. Knowledge of video bridging, gateways, interoperability solutions, and collaboration technologies.
